This December, we're delighted to support The Royal Free Charity that supports Royal Free London NHS patients covering The Royal Free, Barnet Hospital and Chase Farm Hospital as well as North London satellite units for dialysis, breast cancer screening and neuro-rehabilitation. The Royal Free Charity endeavours to make today feel better for all patients, visitors and staff at their hospitals.
They focus on patient support, which means looking after a patient as a whole and not just treating their illness. Whether it is through the traditional patient support groups or by providing complementary therapy massage to help with coping with a condition. The Royal Free Charity wants all patients to feel that they have a ‘friend’ with them when they come to hospital. Their purple topped Volunteers greet everyone with a smile, help visitors find their way and visit patients on the ward if they are admitted alone and would like some company.
REN recognises the importance of wellbeing and bringing pleasure into everyday life which is why for every order placed this month, we will donate £2 with the aim of raising up to £10,000.
